Ethics Training

Provide customized training in ethics for target audience (attorneys, judges, forensic scientists, medical personnel, SANEs, victim/witness coordinators, law enforcement, students and other related professionals) based on “Ethics in Forensic Science,” Downs, JCU, Ranadive Swienton, A.; Elsevier Press, April, 2012. Program can be tailored to the needs of the requesting agency and can be discipline, agency, state or jurisdiction specific to include laboratory issues, ethics in media related to high profile cases and legal commentators, reporting and testimony ethics and legal ethics. Training can vary in duration from 2 hours to 2 days, again depending on the requirements of the requesting agency and can be delivered onsite or online. In some cases, CLE credits may be obtained.

Legal Training

Provide customized training to forensic scientists, other potential expert witnesses and students on a variety of legal issues including: testimony preparation, how to survive cross examination, and delivering expert testimony. Training can vary in duration from 2 hours to 3 days, depending on the requirements of the requesting agency and can be delivered onsite or online.

Forensic Training

Provide customized training to attorneys, judges and law enforcement personnel on various forensic science disciplines including: how to prep a case with scientific evidence, forensic DNA, digital evidence, evidence identification, collection and preservation, crime scene investigation. Content can be introductory geared towards the novice practitioner or can include complex advanced and novel information geared more towards the seasoned practitioner. Training can vary in duration from 2 hours to 3 days, again depending on the requirements of the requesting agency and can be delivered onsite or online. In some cases, CLE credits may be obtained.
